ADAC Mx Master Round 4 - Furstlich Drehna - 5.09.2021
Fourth round of the season for the Adac Championship, on the Drehna track, Max Spies manages to maintain the championship leadership.
In qualifying Max gets a third time in his group which gives him the possibility of a good place at the start.
At the start of the first heat after a good start that saw him pass in the first laps in third place, Max seemed to be able to hold on to the position but due to a small error he finished in fourth position.
In race 2 he was the victim of a crash at the start, Max restarted in the last positions but thanks to an incredible comeback allowed him to climb up in tenth position.
In the third and final heat Max Spies showed his talent and his speed thanks to an excellent race pace, he finished very close to the winner and took a deserved second position.
Thanks to these excellent results, Max Spies finished fourth in the day's standings and is still leading the championship.
The last round of the ADAC Yougster Championship will take place next weekend on the Reutlinger track.
Marco Maddii comments on the race as follows: “We are very happy with Max's performance even if it was not an easy race but he managed to keep the first position in the championship. For him it was the home race and maybe the pressure high because he wanted to make a good impression. He comes to the last race with a 5 point lead over Staufer. It won't be easy but we are ready to support Max to get to the important result.
